My first taxonomy I think could be “history”. Each of the objects and pictures I collected has an element and idea that related to history. The idea of history is also the reason why I started this collection. I think it is amazing to learn about a history through just an object, a picture or an artwork. For example, the ancient Egyptian writing, people can open up the study of ancient Egyptian writing through Rosetta Stone, just a piece of stone, that decipher this long lost language. We were able to see in the museum how the artist’s work represented the social scene, international events, and even the smallest things during their daily life. Through this study, I was able to better understand the meaning of these things and to better appreciate the meaning of the existence of museums and galleries.
